The ASI team took its historic restoration business that has been growing
rapidly over the past ten years and spun it off into a new corporation under the
same management at the end of 2001. This new company called Re-View
specializes strictly in commercial historic window work. Re-View
concentrates on the following types of disciplines:

Window Restoration
Re-View has over 21,000 feet of space in its facilities dedicated to the
restoration of historic wood and steel window systems. We use proven
techniques, utilizing wood epoxies, wood dutchmans, and welded steel replacement
components to restore windows that are over a century old. Our craftsmen
handle the following types of work:
Sash and Frame Refurbishment
Insulated Glass Conversion
Hardware Restoration
Trim Restoration and Replication
Window Replication
Re-View has the resources to replicate virtually any type of historic wood or
steel window. We can match profiles, dimensions, and original construction
so you cannot distinguish the originals from the replacements. Re-View has
replicated thousands of historic weight balanced windows to meet the exacting
standards of the National Parks Service. The following are examples of our
replication work:
| Replicated Sash are Fabricated from Custom Knives Designed by the Original

The Re-View craftsmen have decades of experience in working with historic
window systems. Our people understand the traditional methods of
installation, sash balancing, weather stripping, and other elements. It
pays to have experience on your side.
Finish Carpentry
The Re-View carpenters have extensive experience in restoring and replicating
historic trim on even the most elaborate patterns. It is not uncommon for
our team to produce knives to run custom matching trim on historic projects.
Lead Paint Abatement
Since most historic properties have some degree of lead paint associated with
the window restoration work, Re-View offers abatement services to coordinate
with the other disciplines. Our abatement technicians are licensed and
certified to perform abatement in both the shop and field. We have the
tools and equipment and are familiar with all regulations to make the abatement
process flow seamlessly.
Finishing Services
To complete our window work, Re-View offers finishing services for all
windows and finish carpentry. We can match any interior or exterior finish
imaginable. Whether you are trying to match an existing stain, or want a
two-tone match on the exterior, Re-View is up to the challenge.
