ASI has extensive experience in designing and installing glass or translucent canopies to make a significant design impact on a commercial building. Whether it is a signature entrance with a curved canopy or a conventional covered walkway, ASI has the experience to do the work.
ASI can provide either glass or fiberglass canopies. The fiberglass panels can be backlit to light up the architectural appeal of the canopy at night. Canopies are an outstanding way to provide a grand entrance to a school, hospital, hotel, or office building.
Canopies can also be designed using radius panels for a graceful architectural touch. Since the fiberglass panels are protected by a proprietary resin system that withstands wide temperature fluctuations, acid rain, smog, and seismic vibration without cracking. A fiberglass erosion veil also protects the panel from any separation of the glass fibers. The panels are available with a 20 year color change and a 25 year fiberbloom warranty.
ASI's canopies are virtually maintenance free. Kynar paint is available as a finish for the aluminum structure to assure that the metal finish will not fade over time so refinishing is not an issue. The translucent panels are self cleaning with rain so they never need cleaning.
