Kalwall Skylights are complete, factory assembled units.
They are made by permanently bonding specially formulated, super-weathering
fiberglass faces to both sides of an aluminum I-beam grid core - a true sandwich
panel, factory sealed into a rugged aluminum frame.
Kalwall Skylights have a cross section of only 2-3/4" for the standard
series and only weigh 1-1/2 pounds per square foot.

The space formed in the grid between the two faces is filled with translucent
fiberglass batts, providing excellent thermal properties. Higher densities
and thermally broken grid cores are available for truly super insulating units
with U=.10.
Because the standard face sheets are translucent, they transmit natural,
diffused sunlight without the harsh glare of direct sunlight. The special
weather-resistant formulation means the finished Skylight is practically
maintenance-free. They are super strong, shatterproof and extremely impact
resistant.

Kalwall also offers standard pre-engineered Pyramid and Geo-Roof
skylights. The Pyramids are available in pre-engineered components for
standard sizes from 4' to 20' in one-foot increments. The Geo-Roofs come
in prefab elements in sizes from 8' to 28'. Optional colored inserts are
available for added interest.
