While most window companies will deliver the window units and wish you luck,
ASI can complete the job by performing every function associated with the window
opening. ASI has the resources to not only install your windows, but to
also trim out the interiors in whatever trim detail that is contained in the
specification.

Trim Options
ASI can handle virtually any type of trim detail that can be imagined by the
architect. We have a background in commercial millwork and have access to
any of the standard profiles that are most commonly used in commercial
construction. Since we purchase such large quantities of trim throughout
the year, our buying power is substantial. ASI also has the capabilities
of producing any style of custom profiles or wood species. Whether you
want pine, oak, mahogany, cypress, or even reclaimed wood, ASI has access to
these and many more types of species. We have an extensive inventory of
custom knives to cut custom trim, or can easily cut knives to match a desired
profile for your project. We have a can do attitude when it comes to trim
work and actually prefer the more complex applications.
Trim Carpenters
ASI has on staff a group of highly skilled craftsmen that are trained as trim
carpenters. These people are very fastidious about their work and thrive
on the attention to detail. It takes a special breed to be a good trim
carpenter. To do this work properly, you cannot slap it into place like
you see done on most large commercial projects. Many of the ASI trim
carpenters have backgrounds in building cabinets and casework. They have
truly earned the reputation of "craftsman".
Equipment
Since ASI is involved in extremely complex trim jobs where we are matching
historic profiles, we have invested in the tools and equipment to enable us to
easily tackle such complexity. Our carpenters actually look forward to the
challenges of a tough job. We have the planers, shapers, and sanders to
produce top quality trim to match any profile. We also have the precision
field tools that enable our craftsmen to perform exacting installations on the
job site.
